“Five I save you the last slice of pizza Stars”
Leavittinlove review~ PHEW! This was a sassy & sweet read that I devoured. <~~ how could you not get hungry while reading about all that pizza & donuts, yes please! Chloe & Dom’s story was equal parts of exactly what I wanted, and also not what I expected.
Peyton’s brother Dominic co-owns Stupid Cupid with her best friend Chloe. They’ve known each other since they were children, and have secretly harbored feelings for one another. Their assholery (Emma’s word not mine) provides pages full of brilliantly witty banter. Oh to be a fly on the wall in the Hart household! Dom & Chloe decide to use their matchmaking skills to match one another. The challenge is on, and they must complete three dates and reconvene on the successes.
Their underlying chemistry kept me turning the pages as it burned so hot until it finally combusted. I really enjoyed the shift in the second half of the book seeing the characters finally own up to their feelings. I didn’t expect it to take that turn, but it was actually really real and refreshing to read. In the end, we got sass, drag queens, donuts, and some hot hot hottness for Chloe and Dom (finally!) it was many years coming for those two.
I would definitely recommend this light hearted rom-com to everyone! You can skip your daily ab workout and just get some fantastic belly laughs in from this one!!
1.Get over my best friend’s brother.
2.Remember that I’m over him.
3.Prove I can date other people.
It should be easy.
Setting up a dating website with the guy I’ve been in love with since I was five wasn’t my smartest idea.
Especially since he’s my best friend’s brother—thankfully, she’s okay with the fact I’m pulling a Sandy and I’m hopelessly devoted to him.
Which is why it’s time to get over him.
So I do something crazy and ask Dominic Austin to find me a date. He does—if I find him one, too.
Since we own Stupid Cupid, it should be easy, right? And it is.
My date is perfect. His date is perfect. Everything is perfect.
Until he kisses me…
And a big-ass mess…
